- Amazing job as expected by @mehdirhasan asking probing questions and challenging his guests even if he agrees with them politically. This is how you conduct an interview. 00:00 - Just came back from a productive trip to Ramallah🇵🇸. We performed procedures on 8 Palestinian patients with an amazing local IR team..TIPS, BRTO, VMs, aortoiliac reconstruction and TACE. These pts had limited travel options. It was great to offer treatment close to their homes

- Rest in peace my uncle, mentor and role model, Dr Abdullah Sabri. At the time of his death yesterday in Jerusalem at age 88, he was the oldest practicing physician in Palestine. He was a pioneer who cared for Palestinians in Jerusalem🇵🇸 since the early 1960s الى جنات الخلد يا عمي
- Honored to have done first gunsite trans-splenic TIPS in Jordan 🇯🇴. Workshop with 2 live cases in Irbid, Jordan. Two pts with PVT and recurrent variceal bleeding. 1/2
- Just came back from another trip to Jerusalem and West Bank 🇵🇸 where I worked with the amazing local IR teams at 3 hospitals in East Jerusalem, Hebron and Ramallah. It was inspiring to see IR services in Palestine thrive despite limited resources and the reality of occupation
- I was approached by Ayman today who told me that he attended an IRIG a few years ago where I gave a lecture that encouraged him to do IR. He wanted to let me know that he just matched for Integrated IR at @EmoryRadiology. This is always humbling. Congrats!
