- The Gaudreau family at Flames Community Rink today… the bench is made from sticks left at Johnny’s memorial at the Saddledome #flames
- W/ Tony DeAngelo’s NHL future up in the air, it’s worth talking about how the New York Rangers enabled & promoted him the past 4 yrs, despite knowing his history of racist comments & current problematic behaviour that includes COVID denials & that the American election is rigged.
- Quite an incredible picture being painted outside the Saddledome this afternoon. The artist’s name is Lindsay Hamilton and she’s a lifelong Flames fan. She hopes to auction her painting. LNZART.ca ART_LNZ on socials
- Interestingly, David Rittich in fact flew with his ex-teammates on the Calgary Flames plane to Toronto to join his new Maple Leafs teammates. Lucic says that there were some chirps on the plane & that he appreciated getting to say a proper goodbye to Rittich.
- Respectfully…I have friends @ Sportsnet/CBC who are wonderful, talented, hard-working humans, but Ron MacLean not asking NHL commissioner Gary Bettman about the Chicago Blackhawks sexual assault coverup allegations is an ENORMOUS dereliction of journalistic integrity & duty IMO.
- BREAKING - I can confirm that the Seattle Kraken have chosen Calgary Flames captain Mark Giordano as their pick at the Expansion Draft, to be announced this evening.
- The memorial for Johnny Gaudreau at the Saddledome has grown a lot since last night. Lots of people here this Saturday morning. Dozens of messages in chalk. More candy, Gatorade, and notes.

- Again, worth noting the admirable thought of Winnipeg Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers, in the heat of the moment w/ his team was about to lose, to wall off other players so that Jake Evans would be untouched. Who knows what could've happened to Jake Evans if Ehlers hadn't done that.
