Currently, more than 90% of the fertilisers used in Brazil are imported. Broader access to knowledge and technologies in this sector could boost the country’s capacity to develop its own production, adapted to the conditions of the tropical climate.

The UK condemns Israel’s strikes on Doha, which are a flagrant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty, and risk setting back negotiations for a ceasefire, which is the only way to achieve lasting peace. Further escalation in the Middle East must be avoided.
