- This week, #Sweden participated for the first time as an ally in #NATO intelligence & security committees. With Sweden’s accession, @NATO has added one of Europe’s best intelligence services to our alliance. Deterrence and defense starts with intelligence. #WeAreNATO @SwedenNato

- Insightful #ROK National Intelligence Service meeting with @SecGenNATO and subsequent briefing to #NATO Allies and Indo-Pacific Partners on #DPRK support to Russia’s war in Ukraine. DPRK’s deployment of troops to Russia undermines Euro-Atlantic and Indo-Pacific security.
- Important discussion today with #Romania State Secretary for Strategic Affairs Ana Tinca on Black Sea Region security issues. This region has all of the elements of today’s strategic competition - and #NATO is fortunate to have strong Allies as Romania. #WeAreNATO
- Great privilege to meet today with #Montenegro PM @MickeySpajic at #NATO. We discussed the role Montenegro plays in the NATO Intelligence Enterprise, Western Balkan security issues, the Middle East, and Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine. #WeAreNATO
- Just wrapped up visit to Kyiv, where I met w/ @AndriyYermak, @DmytroKuleba, @rustem_umerov, @StefanishynaO, Oleksandr Lytvynenko, & senior intelligence leaders. Impactful to see the resilience & bravery of the Ukrainian people.
