- This probably isn’t being talked about enough. Avery has started 6 games. K-State is 5-1 in those games. 3 of those games were ranked vs Top 20 teams. I imagine very few QBs have played 3 Top 20 teams in their first 6 starts let alone be 3-0 in said games.Avery Johnson has 3 Top 25 wins as a starter. (6 starts as QB)
- K-State and Texas Tech should play for large bronzed T-Bone steak and call it “The Founders Steak” as they both were founding members of the Big 12 and played in the Inaugural Big 12 game. I will not be taking any questions at this time.
- Bruce Weber just coached K-State to the E8 with no production from our best player in the entire tournament. I’m going to be in Atlanta and he can punch me in the face as many times as he wants.
- I’m sure it’s already been tweeted but K-State joins Oklahoma as the only schools to win a Big 12 Title in all 3 Eras. North vs South, One True Champion, and 1 vs 2. Additionally joins Baylor as the only schools to have multiple MBB and FB titles in the 10 team era.
