    Email from daughter’s school warning her attendance is below 93%. She was off in total for 3 days this term, one spent vomiting; the next two she was adhering to *their own rules* about leaving 48h from last vomit until school return. Next time, I’ll just send her in.🤷‍♀️

    Probs a bit boring for you lot, but 3 years ago today exactly, a stranger on here commented on one of my posts. We’ve now been married for nearly 10 months. We make each other so happy. ❤️

    One year ago today, I asked my husband for divorce after 24 years together (21 married). Here I am 12 months later- divorced, in my own little house with my children in a different place, about to start a new job. It’s been a hard road and a massive life change but I am HAPPY.

    Dreading tomorrow - parents that show off about their kids getting a string of 8s and 9s on social media will not help. I just want my daughter to get to 6th form. She is not well currently and is on a long waiting list for NHS help. Be proud but consider how you express that.

    I have a girl called Clementine. I had to go to hospital with her as a newborn and the hospital cleaner said ‘oh, you’ve named your baby after an orange’.

    Terrible. Am so sorry. I can well believe it, sadly. I appreciate schools are under pressure from LAs but this is unforgivable, plus any kind of attendance awards are wrong.

    Bit of an announcement- I am separating from my husband. It’s taken me a long time to get the confidence up to make this change, but I am really hopeful that once all the upheaval is settled, life will be happier for everyone.

    This makes me feel really, really sad. I work with SEN kids in mainstream. Way to make them feel excluded and pressured. Also it’s so GREY and dictatorial. There’s no love, warmth or care.

    To all of you who cheered me on- thank you. Happiness has been a very absent part of my life for so long, but I think I am getting there now. I might have less materially, but I don’t care. I’m finding myself and my optimism again. To anyone too scared to leave- make that leap.

    You wouldn't have a slice of Victoria sandwich cake for breakfast so quite why croissants, pain au chocolat and Danish pastries are deemed acceptable is beyond me.

    4 years ago, he replied to a daft post on here I’d made about birds and omens. 2 years ago today, we got married in beautiful Margate. Today we’ve arrived in Spain for a holiday just the two of us. Love of my life. ❤️ Thanks, Twitter.

    My biopsy came back all clear. Thank you to all of you who sent love and support. I am hugely relieved. Time to get on and enjoy my life with my darling husband and my lovely girls xx
