    Cleaning my old papers I got this one. This sent me down the memory lane. Indian express days. How a single newspaper of Goenka had brought the mightiest govt since independence to its knees. Arrest. Bofors expose, persecution but battle royal. Express was etched in Rajiv's mind

    The raid on PFI was meticulously planned. NIA had info about where which leader was, in which room he was sleeping, in which train & bogie he we travelling. In 45 mts in 90+ places in 20+ states, 100 leaders arrested to freeze the outfit leaving it leaderless. Brilliant

    Just now former PM Narasimha Rao's son in law and grandson met me in my office. A while after they left the office I came down. I saw them waiting for a cab. Compare Rao's son in law with Sonia's son. Had Rao also looted like Gandhis his son in law also would have been like Vadra

    When Modi quoted from Kamba Ramayanam at Ayodhya today he was not reading from any slip. He was quoting from his memory. In Tamizh. Amazing preparation. Here in Tamil Nadu Tamizh political readers read from slips even their own speeches. Not quotes from Kambar or Valluvar

    An interesting information. First time Prime Minister speech at Ayodhya is being Live telecast in 6 prominent Tamil tv news channels. They could not just ignore the demand of the viewers. A point to be noted

    Look at this. These are Arunachal Pradesh traditional gurukul boys who learn their Vedas orally hand down for generations in new patashalas started by traditional communities, where they have contemporary schooling also.

    Surprised at how media is reporting on Q2 GDP. “Worst crash” “Economy in ICU” Fact is nation stopped working. So no production, no income, no spend. Only if nation works but doesn’t earn it is fall. It hasn’t worked at all. It is like cut in pay for not working. Illiterate media

    What a white lie Madam? Rajiv arrested me on a forged letter. Raided Indian Express, filed 300 criminal cases for exposing him. Humiliated FS AP Venkateswaran in public, forcd him to resign.Rajiv didn't use mandate to scare people?But we weren't scared

    When I see Modi observing this protocol of briefing President after foreign visits my mind recalls the days when Pres Zail Singh cried to me about PM Rajiv humuliating him, not observing this very protocol. Arrogant Rajiv invited disaster for himself 1/3

    This is what is development. Varanasi-Kolkata Ganga Waterway. More than 80 lac MT goods shipped in 1 month. Next year target is 280 lac MT, he added. Waterways are the cheapest mode. Cost Re 1/ton. Road 10/ ton. Railways 6/ton. British destroyed waterways to promote Railways.
