- 1, Many folks trying to do a startup do NOT have the luxury of a “Friends & Family round”, same applies for many folks trying to do their first fund without “X % of GP commit”. Not everyone is born wealthy or with access to spare cash from their parents rich friends.
- I guess it’s time to come out of retirement then.

- As someone who quit school at 16 (I ran away from home on my 16th bday, long story...) with NO high school exams taken or college or degrees etc. I am really confused when folks (mainly investors) tell me: “Oh, I went to school with him/her” Seriously, WTF does that mean ???

- I was today years old when a French friend told me that Almond Croissants are actually one-day old Croissants that have lost all their crispness, hence bakeries can't sell them anymore. They are then sliced horizontally, garnished with almond filling and baked a second time. 😢
