I never wanted to leave #SriLanka. I always felt you could live a great life here if you were smart about it, and I did. But, I think I am done. Power cuts, fuel shortages, mass mismanagement, and god knows what more is to come. Officially made up my mind to leave.

A lot of people think tomorrow is a big day for #SriLanka. In a political context, yes it is. But, for a Sri Lankan citizen, I am pretty sure there is going to be a ZERO difference irrespective of who wins. No faith in anyone of them. I would love to be proven wrong.

It’s extremely disappointing to see Sri Lankan hotels once again go back to prioritizing service standards to foreigners over locals. It was the locals that helped them survive and stay afloat during COVID. I guess Sri Lankans really do forget very fast. Why are we like this?
