This is a very good day for Alberta and for our energy sector. Justin Trudeau’s unconstitutional Bill C-69, the No More Pipelines bill, has been found unconstitutional. #ableg #canpoli

I have seen a lot of hypocrisy over the years, but this one takes the cake. A race car driver sponsored by Aston Martin, with financing from Saudi Aramco, complaining about the oilsands. 1/3 #ableg

Fully support Premier Smith protecting our oil and gas from a unilateral Ottawa export ban on energy. Some say we need Team Canada. That may have had more appeal if there had been a Team Canada to help us get our resources to market in the past. But that support wasn't there ⬇️

There’s been plenty of talk about federal politicians banning Alberta’s energy exports—so let me address that as clearly as I can.

All true Minister @SeamusORegan , but Alberta is also oil and gas. It is our largest and most important industry here and Canada's economic recovery and growth won't happen without a robust oil and gas sector.

Alberta is hydrogen. Alberta is batteries. Alberta is carbon capture technology. Alberta is geothermal energy. Alberta is electric vehicles. Alberta is vital to 🇨🇦’s clean energy future. cbc.ca/news/canada/ca…

This is devastating news for Alberta. Teck’s withdrawal falls squarely at the feet of the Trudeau government. They’ve undermined national unity, investor confidence and our economic interests all at the same time. This is not only regulatory dysfunction, it is a national disgrace

The Biden administration pleading with OPEC to increase oil production to rescue the U.S from high fuel prices months after cancelling the Keystone XL pipeline smacks of hypocrisy. See below my full statement: alberta.ca/release.cfm?xI… #abpoli #cdnpoli

What this should have read: More expensive vehicles. More expensive farming. More expensive homes. More expensive electricity. Fewer jobs. Canada’s Emissions Reductions plan delivers all of that and more for Canadians with ZERO global GHG reductions.

More electric vehicles. More sustainable farming. Greener homes. Cleaner electricity. Good jobs. Canada’s Emissions Reduction Plan delivers all that and more for Canadians, and that’s what I spoke about at #GLOBEforum earlier this week – watch here: bit.ly/3DsqFxH

How can anybody think it is okay to saddle the next generation(s) with this kind of crippling debt? Wake up Canada. This is what is at stake.

The Liberal Party of Canada is promising to roll out almost $130 billion in new spending over the next four years that, when combined with existing spending, will add $225 billion to the federal debt. cbc.ca/news/politics/…

Agreed. And it should come from Alberta, home of the 3rd largest oil reserves. Alberta is the answer to US Energy security. Real emissions reductions, reliable, right next door.

Hate to say it, but we need to increase oil & gas output immediately. Extraordinary times demand extraordinary measures.

One year after Biden vetoed KXL, U.S demand for oil has increased. They are still importing Russian oil. Alberta has the third largest oil reserves in the world & is a reliable & responsible energy producing neighbour to the U.S. This is a sobering moment for U.S energy policy.

"President Biden is now importing over 800,000 bpd of conflict oil, filling the treasuries of Vladimir Putin's Russia, that is fuelling this military aggression against Ukraine. This is unacceptable," Premier Jason Kenney said yesterday. edmonton.ctvnews.ca/kenney-denounc…

The Government of Alberta is glad to see the approval of a US Presidential Permit for the A2A rail project. We support the development of trade corridors that can unlock new markets for Alberta’s products.

This is great news and important for Alberta producers and Canadian refineries. Alberta companies will always find innovative ways to get things done .... but it would have been much simpler if Energy East was built rather than suffocated by an onerous review process

This is a sad and shameful day for Canada. Once you see this picture you can’t unsee it. Regardless of whether you think they were healthy or a risk, to kill these beautiful creatures this way was cruel, inhumane, barbaric. They suffered unimaginable terror and probably pain. 😢
