- Replying to @stavversit is also worth noting that she is not the only transphobe to have attempted vulva phrenology, there's one a few years ago who lives rent-free in my head who spent hours watching porn to conclude that trans women have less feminine hair around their buttholes
- Replying to @stavversI cannot emphasise enough how any topic, no matter how banal, would turn into a huge war over Westminster needing to wind its neck in and the issue itself would become largely irrelevant because of the more pressing concern of Westminster overreaching.

- Today was the first time I ever saw a photo of James Barry; usually things about him are illustrated with one of the paintings. I suspect that's because in the paintings he looks quite androgynous while in the photo he looks like a grumpy old manDr James Barry (circa 1789-1865) was a renowned military surgeon who is probably better known for the speculation about his gender than his illustrious career. So let's set the record straight about the work of this brilliant healer.
