    Want to say something here: what is happening to Biden re: Del. records is same that happened to Hillary re: emails. Why are we doing this again? Biden WAS investigated in 2008 -- lawyers found nothing. Obama would not have put up with any HINT of any like this. 1/

    Honestly, a pretty clumsy move by the @realDonaldTrump campaign who is typically pretty good on these things. It's so obviously a retreat for him -- he doesn't want to debate a former prosecutor who is decades younger in a neutral place.

    Donald Trump is cowardly backing out of the debate he agreed to. One just like the debate he did in June. Now, he seems only comfortable in a cocoon, asking his happy place Fox to host a Trump rally and call it a debate. Maybe he can only handle debating someone his own age.

    Yup. Hur knew exactly what he was doing here. To provide political cover for himself for not prosecuting, he gratuitously leveled a personal (not legal) charge against the president that he absolutely knows is a gift to Trump. And, guess what we are all talking about?

    Weissmann: Entirely inappropriate that's not the role of the department of justice… It's gratuitous. It's what you're not supposed to do which is putting your thumb on the scale that could have political repercussions
