The amount Elon Musk just paid for Twitter ($44 billion) is nearly equal to Biden’s proposed climate budget ($44.9 billion), in case anyone's wondering how seriously we’re taking the climate crisis

Here's a map showing which countries in the Middle East own nuclear weapons
Israel: 90 nuclear warheads. Rest of the Middle East: 0. This regional map displays states with nuclear weapons in red and those without in blue. Israel is the only country highlighted in red. Data: Federation of American Scientists, Status of World Nuclear Forces, 2025.

Kyrsten Sinema won’t support spending $3.5 trillion over 10 years for the reconciliation bill, but supported giving the Pentagon $4.2 trillion over the last six by voting for every military budget since she’s been in office

Can't believe I have to say this, but brutally cracking down on peaceful protests is not good policy, morally or politically

    Joe Biden Is Shipping
Weapons to Israel Every

The Biden administration has been able to maintain a low profile by spreading arms provision to Israel across more than 100 smaller munitions sales - allowing the president to posture as a peacekeeper while US weapons wipe Gaza off the map.

Let me be clear: The Palestinian people are suffering. The need to get increased aid to the most vulnerable is urgent. And our work with Israel to further increase the amount of aid getting into Gaza by land continues.

House Republicans just introduced the DOGE Act. The bill cuts non-military spending by $114 billion, shrinking programs for energy, climate, health, transportation, veterans, education, economy, and more. The DOGE Act reduces Pentagon spending by $0.
Screengrab of the DOGE Act. Underlined text: "Disaster Offset and Government Efficiency Act." "In subsection (c)(10)(b), by striking the dollar amount and inserting $597,000,000,000.

Elizabeth Warren (along with Merkley, Van Hollen, Welch & Durbin) just voted for a bill that defunds UNRWA (the largest/most capable provider of humanitarian aid in Gaza) and gives Israel $3.8 billion in weapons, no strings attached.

Netanyahu's bombing campaign, blocking of humanitarian aid, and hospital raids have devastated people in Gaza. @SenJeffMerkley, @ChrisVanHollen, @SenPeterWelch, @SenatorDurbin & I are urging the Biden admin to do more to deliver life-saving medical care. huffpost.com/entry/warren-b…

Gaza needs 600 aid trucks/day to prevent famine. Biden admin only asked Israel to let in 350/day. Israel let in 56/day. Biden admin did nothing. Hunger is a man-made tragedy. Starvation is the Biden admin's policy.

The Biden administration opposed a ceasefire in Gaza and announced a $500 million weapons sale to Israel on the same day. This is cartoonishly evil. How is this even real

The Israeli bombing of a refugee camp inside a designated safe zone is horrific. Israel has a duty to protect innocent civilians and Palestinians seeking shelter in Rafah have nowhere safe to go. Netanyahu’s assault of Rafah must stop. We need an immediate cease-fire.
