The Georgia Attorney General's office says last-minute rule changes proposed by a Georgia State Election Board (with a majority of members who've demonstrated they *don't* know very much about election administration) are likely illegal/invalid. #gapol scribd.com/document/77121…

SCOOP: NPR has ID'd the two Trump campaign staffers involved in an altercation at Arlington National Cemetery last week that Trump insists did not happen. One of them is a deputy campaign manager. More with @QuilLawrence+@TBowmanNPR:

This is absolutely bonkers. Georgia's two Republican U.S. Senators are calling on the Republican Secretary of State to resign because they believe - without evidence - that he "failed to deliver honest and transparent elections." #gapol

Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, who faced death threats and attacks amplified by former President Donald Trump (as recently as this week!) will receive one of the nation's highest honors from President Biden tomorrow. #gapol

I've seen a lot in my two years of covering Georgia elections but I never thought that I'd see an evidence-free assault on one of the most transparently-run elections in recent memory - with few reported issues - from two U.S. Senators.

Herschel on the climate/Green New Deal/air: "Since we don't control the air our good air decided to float over to China's bad air so when China gets our good air, their bad air got to move. So it moves over to our good air space. Then now we got we to clean that back up."

👀 The White House account is calling out Republicans who had PPP loans forgiven but criticize yesterday’s student loan announcement, starting with Marjorie Taylor Greene.

On her way out of the chamber a few minutes ago, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi just said “it speaks for itself” when asked about today’s vote and adjournment without a speaker/rules/swearing anyone in.

I’ve heard a lot of “theories” about what happened in 2020 but “Space Force has the evidence to implement martial law and overturn the election” is a new one to me.

This is... probably not the look you want overshadowing *any* bill, but especially a big voting bill: law enforcement literally dragging out a sitting state Rep. from the Capitol. #gapol

NEW: An NPR review of thousands of pages of records across a dozen+ federal lawsuits finds an alarming pattern across agencies, where DOGE has given conflicting information about what data it has accessed, who has that access, and most importantly — why.

DOGE says it needs to know the government's most sensitive data, but can't say why
