- This evening we welcome the first sculptures of women in the Long Room, launched by Trinity’s Chancellor Dr Mary McAleese. Meet Ada Lovelace by artist Maudie Brady; Mary Wollstonecraft by artist Rowan Gillespie ; Rosalind Franklin by Vera Klute & Augusta Gregory by Guy Reid.
- We are delighted these exquisite illustrations from the Book of Kells feature in An Post’s Stamp for Ireland series, for St Patrick’s Day. They depict profiles of 2 lions, a reoccurring image in the Book of Kells, symbolising Christ and the resurrection. #VirtualTrinityLibrary
