my friend’s great-grandmother died from complications of anorexia. she was already a great-grandmother at the time :/ she actually got away with disordered behavior in her elderly facility, bc weight loss isn’t unusual in old age… they didn’t realize until it was too late :(

thank you. we eat ice cream every year on her birthday, and i join in no matter how much i’m struggling bc it was the one food she would still eat all the way to the end and i think she would like that :,)

Idk if all of edtwt feels this, but a crazy trade-off thats so consistent for me— Every time I start restricting it’s immediately easier to take care of myself in every other way. Skincare, vitamins, cleaning, socializing, errands, hobbies, gym, etc. Starving keeps me going ig?
