Hot take: 2+ years of employment should be a medical school admissions requirement. Y’all have clearly never waited tables or cleaned up after shoppers have ransacked a retail stores and it shows. Drop the forced volunteer work please. I had to pay rent.

I may regret sharing this much on social media, but I feel the need to get this off my chest. My marriage fell apart during medical school, mostly due to being perpetually long distance in different countries. My husband and I filed for divorce a few days after Christmas. (1/4)
