00:00 - Replying to @theblackwright9I’m making this thread because honestly it’s getting tiring that ppl STILL claim that Michael bleached his skin and got extreme amounts of plastic surgery because he wanted to be white when that is not the case and there’s evidence to disprove that. So here we go
- Replying to @theblackwright9Michael started experiencing depigmentation in his skin in his younger years and was officially diagnosed by a dermatologist in the 80s
- Replying to @theblackwright9People say “well if he only got surgery on his nose and chin why did his face change so much” the answer is it actually didn’t. The changes only look drastic due to his change in skin color. He actually didn’t change his face as much as you think.

- Replying to @theblackwright9Michael first had surgery on his nose after he fell and broke it in 1979 while dancing. During the procedure to repair it, he wanted to make his nose more narrow after being insecure about its size due to his father’s ridicule for years about how big his nose was.
- Replying to @theblackwright9Michael also had lupus which is another autoimmune disease that can be associated with vitiligo and likely made his depigmentation worse
