    What happens when you have no clue about water resources, engineering, geography and just want to pointlessly drum up support by taking an anti Pak stance and be stupidly provocative! It's not only ridiculous but dangerous! ๐Ÿ™„

    The Indus Waters give India immense strategic advantage over Pakistan. 80% of Pak agricultural fields depend on these waters that India controls. India can engineer floods & droughts in Pakistan. Why has New Delhi been shy of exercising this power? Time to leverage the Indus?

    380 Afghans who worked for the Korean government in Afghanistan will arrive in South Korea tomorrow according to MOFA. They will not be entering as refugees, but as people of merit to the country says the Foreign Ministry.

    I'm no #Afghan expert but I am a #water security watcher, esp #transboundary & what is happening there worries me for obvious reasons + more. Afghanistan is water rich, the headwaters of many rivers originate there & flow to neighbours. Why should we pay attention to this? 1/n

    1958. My grandparents + father arrive in Belfast. My grandfather, Lt Cdr RB Subramanian, was a naval architect who oversaw the refit & modernization of INS Vikrant acquired by India in 57 & commissioned by Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit in 61. INS Vikrant was instrumental in 1971 war!
