There was a moth on my computer screen so I googled “what eats moths?” and found a picture of a bat. I moved the picture around the screen to try and simulate flying. The moth was undisturbed but my experiments continue.

Started calling the middle of a loaf of bread “the king’s bread” and saying things like “a cheddar this fine demands the king’s bread!” This is just one of the many ways I have scraped joy out of a cold and unaccountable universe.

Told a guy at the urinal that I liked his stream tone and he thanked me in a way that made it obvious it’s been too long since he’s heard a compliment. We need to take better care of our boys.

During one of the darkest times in my life I invented a way of cooking hotdogs called "garlic water" where I would put some garlic in some boiling water and then boil the hot dogs in the garlic water. You never really know what people are going through in private.
