- can anyone explain to me why a bunch of this younger generation seems to have intense amounts of cooking-related anxiety??? bc I have been witness to multiple friends now nearly having anxiety attacks trying to boil pasta like what on earth has done this to y'all
- so let me get this straight - search functions on google are nearly unusable - search functions on YouTube are nearly unusable - search functions on Instagram are nearly unusable + can no longer search tags by most recent posts - search functions on Twitter are breaking
- "the TV glew but I had to unplug it when I got pregnant" and the top comment is "plug it back in, who knows might be your babies favorite movie" ohhhhh I'm crying again
- Replying to @therapatical- search functions on tiktok are nearly unusable - search functions on tumblr have pretty much never been unusable but still worth a mention what are we even supposed to do at this point
- one of the common experiences of many autistic people is that we will memorize a lot of complicated vocab terms because we hate imprecise language bc allistic folk verbally abuse us via wilful misunderstandings & misinterpretations of what we say--we internalize this by thinking
- Replying to @therapaticallike yes your parents should be teaching you basic cooking skills but whatever ik that's not always accessible. but what concerns me is the sheer amount of *anxiety*. bc a few friends know that ik how to cook & have had me help them before and it's just like....who hurt you
