It’s a good, Wednesday morning for Uc football fans. Got word that Kerry Coombs will not be the only holdover from the UC staff. Walt Stewart will be serving Scott Satterfield as his DL coach.

- I’m asking a favor from all of you today. Just finished my weekly talk with Coach Bischel, and he asked me to do whatever I could to let the UC students know how much he and the Diamond Bearcat players appreciated their attendance and enthusiasm yesterday during the Toledo game.
- Don’t want to argue, but I admire Kerry Coombs. Heard he interviewed today for 2 hours. He’s fighting to keep recruits and even trying to bring some coaches back. If you disagree with me, fine. But I’ll get into that foxhole with Coombs any time.

- The Bearcats have not lost a football game in two months. The pollsters are noticing, and College Game Day gave Cincinnati quite a bit of praise yesterday. UC then went out and gave Baylor its worst loss of the season. Four tough Big 12 games remaining, but it’s been fun
