I have been stuck in a wheelchair, with a portable ventilator to help me breathe, for the past fifteen years. I’m usually happy, or at least equanimous, but sometimes, when I’m alone with my thoughts, the weight of my incapacity feels crushing. Pray for me, friends and followers.

You see, my dear friends, this is the problem of Sola Scriptura, in one tweet. If we merely go to the text, then one cannot say conclusively that Humpty Dumpty is an egg. Of course he’s an egg! Decades of authoritative nursery rhyme tradition declare that Humpty Dumpty is an egg!
