In Parliament @tomgordonLD said that the holiday tax is “the wrong policy at the wrong time”. The UK’s hospitality and tourism sector is one of the most taxed sectors and the holiday tax would put us at a further competitive disadvantage. #StopTheHolidayTax

I was really touched by Noah’s story when his mum reached out. Thank you for letting me share it in the campaign to improve SEND provision and home to school transport. Noah’s isn’t an isolated case, the Public Accounts Committee found 40% of families with young SEND children

Just a two word change is costing families the best part of a grand per child, per year in bus passes. By only paying for children to go their nearest school, families are receiving a nasty shock when they’re denied bus passes to schools they’re in catchment for. I’m proud to

The inquiry into inadequate mental health services was hard fought and I’m worried that it’s at risk of becoming an afterthought amidst the new DHSC/NHS restructuring. The idea of promising an inquiry, then having it fizzle out is unacceptable to the families who lost loved ones
