    3. You won't truly grow up until your heart gets broken Losing people is part of life. You'll fall madly in love, think someone is your soul mate, and then see it all crumble. Own it. Don't avoid the pain but know it's temporary and pick yourself up. You've just grown as a man.

    1. Believe in yourself 100% of the time You're a dreamer and a creative mind—that's a gift. Trust your instincts and believe in yourself even when no one else will. How can you expect anyone to believe in you, if you won't believe in yourself first?

    5. Drop loser friends without remorse They won't get you to where you want to go. I'm not talking about childhood friends who may not be as ambitious as you. I'm talking about the ones who only want to party. They will drag you down. Ditch them.

    25. Your parents did the best they could It's easy when you're young to blame your parents. Drop that immediately and give your parents some slack. They did the best they could and they're not perfect—nobody is.

    22. Hold yourself to a ridiculously high standard In health, nutrition, fitness, education, business—no one will tell you what to do. You're on your own. Be your own leader and hold yourself to a high standard. Lead yourself.
