At today’s game, we will be welcoming 15 people who are in the process of seeking asylum, with some tickets donated by the club and the rest paid for by Union members. 🤝 West is a community club, for all.

We’re proud to be able to honour a man who played an enormous role in shaping the club that West has become today. We’ll never forget you, Paul. Excellent work by @ChorltonWest, who have led on this.

Today we'll be remembering West volunteer Paul Settle, who passed away in January. A plaque donated by @union1908 will be presented to Paul's son - and former West player and manager - Steve prior to kick-off. The plaque will be attached to the entrance gate after the game.

Confirmed: no awards for West this month. If Sam Heathcote scoring 9 from centre back, getting 4 clean sheets and 4 player of the match awards isn’t going to get him recognition from the Counties, you feel like nothing ever will.
