When I find something that works, I want everyone to know about it. Adam @Engineer_Wong produces excellent quality HEPA laminar air purifying devices that keep me safe. I use the AirFanta 4Lite everywhere I go. I’m a huge 🪭

I’m seeing a lot of “if your mask works why do I need one” and want to tackle the reason one way masking isn’t enough. I’m immunocompromised and wear a fitted N99 anytime I leave the house. It’s excellent personal protection. I still wish more people would mask 🧵

So, let me get this right. Up to 60% of cases are asymptomatic. Up to 75% of you bastards will hide your positive status. I don’t want to hear a peep out of anyone dissing people protecting themselves by wearing a respirator 😷 #WhatABunchOfAssholes #COVIDisAirborne

“Burning Man flu”. Out in the middle of the desert with no walls or ceilings to enclose you. People are catching SARS-CoV-2 OUTSIDE 🤔 You’re welcome ☺️

Friends family all tested prior to visiting family member with late stage Alzheimers. Son tested positive. No symptoms. Positive kid stayed home. The rest went to visit immunocompromised patient. Didn’t occur to them they were all close contacts who are about to test positive.

RNA DETECTION and PERSISTENCE in BODY FLUIDS associated with SEXUAL ACTIVITY (saliva, semen, vaginal secretion, urine and faeces/rectal secretion). bmjopen.bmj.com/content/14/2/e… INCLUDED STUDIES : A total of 182 studies with 10 023 participants.

Incorrect/misleading: the study does NOT state that covid-19 is sexually transmitted. While they have found viral particles in excretions, it was not any *viable virus*. (Also note it's an airborne virus. If you're having sex, you're PROBABLY breathing the same air already.) bmjopen.bmj.com/content/14/2/e… twitter.com/ejustin46/stat…

People on TikTok losing their minds over what SARS-CoV-2 has done to their brains. “Where’s this study?”, they ask. It’s not a study, it’s about 1/2 a million studies that talk about the 1/2 a billion of us who developed Long COVID et. al. 🔗 👇🏻 1/2

Considering the overwhelming scientific evidence that shows how badly SARS-CoV-2 damages the body, the first question doctors should be asking is: How many COVID infections have you had, that you know of? It should be the first question we ask anyone outside our immediate clan.

I emailed Pluslife to check and their reply is affirmative: “Dear Melissa, Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes, our Influenza A/Influenza B serial kits can cover the detection of the following subtypes: Influenza A: H1N1, H5N1, H3N2, H7N9 Influenza B: BV, BY” 1/3

A year ago @GeorgeMonbiot wrote: “You could see Covid-19 as an empathy test. Who was prepared to suffer disruption and inconvenience for the sake of others, and who was not?” It’s no longer an empathy test; it’s an intelligence test and most are failing.

What's up with undergrads missing class constantly due to sickness? I've heard this is a thing at multiple institutions. My class has been repeatedly decimated.
