Gentle reminder: INS Vikrant work began in 1999. It was launched in 2013. It was commissioned in 2022. It will take a few more years before it is ops ready. It did not apparate due to increased atma nirbharta in the last few years.

India abstained. Unbelievable. Hundreds of thousands being killed. Children being starved. India abstained from a vote on ceasefire. All other South Asian nations voted for it, as did France, UK, Germany, Russia, China. Indian govt should grow a conscience.

It's not that Modi's supporters don't believe Rahul Gandhi's revelations. It is that they, like many of those who man institutions like the ECI and courts, believe it is ok for BJP to do anything to stay in power.

Just to be clear. There's no hijab controversy in Karnataka. It's a saffron controversy and saffron attack against Muslim students in hijab.

Disturbing to see tweets equating Hindu and Muslim angst. The kind of provocation that Muslims have been and are being subjected to on a daily basis is unprecedented and unforgivable. No nation should turn its back on its own people like this.

#Zubair’s work with @AltNews involves tracking fake news & #misinformation. He filters, fact-checks, and debunks news material that could potentially instigate conflict, violate rights, or just be false. Anupama Katakam writes. frontline.thehindu.com/the-nation/con…

Why are so-called liberals hitting out at @RanaAyyub because she called India "morally corrupt"? That is exactly what we as a nation are today. Unless we recognise the malaise and call it out, we won't be able to treat it. Let's at least have the courage & conscience to do so.

The Tamil Nadu CM's logic in resisting the imposition of Hindi makes serious sense. Hindi should not be allowed to swallow all other tongues and cultures. Tamil Nadu is doing very well without Hindi. Leave it alone.

My dear sisters and brothers from other states, Ever wondered how many Indian languages Hindi has swallowed? Bhojpuri, Maithili, Awadhi, Braj, Bundeli, Garhwali, Kumaoni, Magahi, Marwari, Malvi, Chhattisgarhi, Santhali, Angika, Ho, Kharia, Khortha, Kurmali, Kurukh, Mundari and

This is the sort of uninformed rubbish that passes for journalism. On par with "nobody knew about Gandhi until Attenborough made a film".

The beauty of being Vinesh Phogat is that you don't need a gold to shine. A woman with tons of moral courage and physical courage and the guts to tell the most powerful men to f*** off. May the force be with you. ✊🏽

On principle, I object strongly to the label Operation Sindoor. It reeks of patriarchy, ownership of women, "honour" killings, chastity, sacralising the institution of marriage, and similar Hindutva obsessions.
