    You just put your finger on a key issue, @rameshsrivats! Life in Indian cities would be so much better if we could walk or cycle more. That includes walking from our homes to the metro stations so that public transport becomes a more viable alternative for everyone. It would

    #JantaCurfew is bad news for Lucknow’s rickshaw pullers . They are daily wagers and income is down and the future is even more bleak . Spoke to them a while ago . Also , maintained a distance , shot on zoom , wore a mask , but did it because their voice needs to be heard !

    I’m thinking back to an interview I did with @msdhoni in 2010. @imjadeja was failing in match after match and there were loud calls that he be dropped. Dhoni told me - “ We need to have patience. One day Jadeja will be the all-rounder that India needs”

    My first big coverage - I came to Davos in 1992 with Prime Minister Narasimha Rao. India was totally ignored then and treated as unimportant. From there to the opening plenary in 2018. India has come a long way! We should feel proud!
