#OTD 2 years ago, I sailed overnight from #Cherbourg to #Dublin to take my position as new French Ambassador. I arrived by ferry, from France, Ireland's closest 🇪🇺neigbour. Honoured and privileged to represent 🇫🇷 in 🇮🇪. We have a strong and rich bilateral agenda. Two great years!

First Sunday in #Dublin since my arrival. Still in #quarantine, home working but enjoying the comfort of the extraordinary 🇮🇪 heritage building which is the French Residence 🇫🇷 since 1931.

Last working day in #Paris at @francediplo_EN . On Sunday, I shall leave to #Ireland to take my new assignment as French Ambassador-designate. Arrival on Monday as I will travel by boat, direct line Cherbourg-Dublin. Follow my journey on this account. 🚄+🛳

Today is #BastilleDay ! I start the day by a visit to Wolfe Tone’s statue one Stephen’s Green. A great Republican figure and friend of France. I will later participate to the national day of Commemoration and lay a wreath in Glasnevin cemetery. 🇫🇷🇪🇺
