I am not an anti-vaxxer, I do not think covid is a hoax, I care deeply abt the elderly, I believe in science and I think our treatment of the kids during this pandemic is criminal.

When people say "it's a once in a lifetime pandemic," I typically respond with, "Childhood is a once in a lifetime event too." There is never an excuse to harm kids to protect adults.

Why do people want to believe masks work so badly?

I cannot believe the Superbowl will be in LA with adults partying while toddlers are masked. Welcome to the most selfish generation. ๐Ÿ˜“

I will never vote for a person that supported... I'll go first- masking toddlers.

I am tired of elites mocking community college.
Jimmy Kimmel just scorched earth on Aaron Rodgers! โ€œA guy who went to community college, then got into Cal on a football scholarship & didnโ€™t graduateโ€ฆ Aaron Rodgers got two Aโ€™s on his report card, and they were both in the word, โ€˜Aaronโ€™.โ€ @jimmykimmel

I loved growing up in the 80s. We had independence, explored until dusk, roamed on bikes, and did not live in perpetual fear. What the heck happened?

It is NOT "just" a mask. It is an impediment to hearing, seeing smiles/emotional facial cues, rapport building. It's uncomfortable to wear one for hours on end & exacerbates acne & dry, chapped skin. For kids, it is 1 more layer that impedes connections. It is NOT "just" a mask.

We cannot keep pretending that masking kids is no big deal. Kids thrive when they see faces, hear peers/teachers clearly, and are able to smile at others. This should not be controversial after almost two years.

If you partied at a holiday event unmasked, but believe it is no big deal to send kids to school for 8 hours masked, you have got some soul searching to do.

Sorry I will never isolate my kids when they are sick. I would not isolate my dog. I signed up for this when i became a mom. My kids will always come first. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ

Walking into my gym this morning after our county in Texas immediately rescinded the mask mandate- no performative temp checks, no masking rules and smiles all over from gym goers. Do not underestimate the publicโ€™s desire to return to normalcy. H/t @Emily_Burns_V
