This is an election-footing posting. It's an arm around the right of the party, but it's also: ๐โโ๏ธsomeone happy to be carted out for interviews on the trickiest of days, and... ๐โโ๏ธsomeone perhaps happier to say the things Downing St are a little queasy about- the Conservatives are *literally* bankrupting Britain. not in a nonsense โoh debt to GDP is relatively a bit highโ way but more *actual local governance structures are being made insolvent* way.The financial collapse of local government is one of those stories that really should be getting far more national coverage.
