Last jamb was a disaster for my village youngsters. Over 70% of them failed jamb and the rest sparely passed. Rather than waiting for the government, we decided to take a different approach. We took the challenge upon ourselves for it not to repeat itself again. Every youngster

In Nigeria, a child who can recite Shakespeare is called brilliant. One who can fix a generator is called 'unserious.' That’s why we have a country full of grammar — and no light.

When you go abroad to do Masters, you will wonder if it’s the same planet you studied for BSc.

This little boy Chidera Ikeoha from Enugu State wrote this book and has been wondering from motor pack to motor pack in Enugu trying to sell it. He wrote this book while he was in primary 6 and currently he is in JSS2. We can’t let this star be discouraged!

I learnt today that in Kano, Rabiu Kwankwaso actually picked children of vulcanizers and farmers and sent them to Russia to become doctors and engineers. He gave scholarships to over 2600 children. The more interesting thing was that they were all by merit.

Nigeria is the only place where graduates are told to ‘go and learn a skill’ after 4 years in university. What exactly were they learning all that time?

Graceland International School, PortHarcourt just informed me that Agbo Adoga qualified to represent Nigeria in international Maths Olympiad in China. Nigerian Ministry of Education said they don’t have money to sponsor anybody. So he will not attend. Nigeria lost again!

The biggest scam in Nigeria isn’t 419 — it’s spending 16 years in school and still needing ‘connections’ to get a job.

This is recent photo of P.N Okeke. He shaped many generations in Physics. He did this without the help of the internet. More than 20 million Nigerians benefitted from your work and so many of them are excelling today. You are a hero and I will forever celebrate you!
