    i really don’t think this was an act, he definitely didn’t expect to have fun but it ended up being his first time in years experiencing real camaraderie and shared excitement and social bonding through triumph

    no line in the entire show strikes me as deeply as this one. there’s such a prevalent theme throughout squid game of childhood innocence lost, and this line encompasses it so devastatingly.
