Thanks to @wspd7pio and @wastatepatrol for this reminder that all of our crews deserve to go home safely. Our IRT driver is one week from retirement and this is a stark reminder that behind every flashing light is someone out there keeping the roads safe for all @wsdot

NEW ROUNDABOUT COMING TO LYNDEN We'll start a project to build a compact roundabout at the SR 546/E Badger Rd-Benson Rd intersection next week. Most construction will occur during a 6-day full closure of the intersection June 21-27. More information: bit.ly/SR546BensonRd

SR 531 STRIPING OPERATION Happening now on SR 531/Lakewood Road: Striping crews are working on both directions between Rose Rd (MP 0) to 3rd Ave NW (MP 5) west of Arlington. Work is scheduled until 11:30 am today (6/18). Give our crews space and plan for delays.
