- 1. There’s a Hamas tunnel under a civilian’s house. 2. The tunnel only has military or criminal uses. It was built under the civilian’s house to protect it from attack. 3. The people in the house have been told repeatedly to get out to save their lives—but they decide not to.
- Locke never had children. Neither did Descartes, Hobbes, Spinoza, or Kant. Rousseau had children but gave them all up for adoption. In other words, Enlightenment rationalism was the construction of men who had no real experience of family life or what it takes to make it work.

It is remarkable how quickly the world stands ready to attack Musk for his shoot from the hip commentary. Musk is not perfect, but the world is a vastly better place because of him.
