    Trying to get a prior authorization approved for a patient of mine who needs a cardiac procedure. Initially not approved , submitted more info, a week later still not approved and requested a peer to peer (phone call w insurance doctor) my staff called three times... (1/2)

    Spending an hour on hold each time. Finally on the third day got through. Phone call scheduled several days later where I imagine it'll ultimately get denied anyway. This is American healthcare.

    I support proof of vaccination at restaurants, bars, gyms. To those who claim segregation, how is this different than smoking? That's a personal choice of risk, but we keep others protected by enforcing restrictions. Why should we not do the same with protecting folks from Delta?

    I do healthcare consulting for a living. It is simple math that we cannot reduce healthcare costs in this country without reducing the amounts we pay doctors and hospitals. Dr's cannot make $30k/hour in an affordable system.

    Had a sick cardiac patient recently who's only chance was ECMO. We did not have the resources/nursing to offer it due to several sick COVID pts. Multiple hospitals in the state also could not accommodate for same reasons. Made them CMO. COVID collateral damage is still real.

    I’m tired of hearing stories of docs and nurses getting reprimanded by the “suits” for jwearing a freakin surg mask when they are on the unit because it “looks bad”. Do you know how many HCP are admitted in the US? Are you on the wards? I say F that. Protect yourselves. #COVID19

    I think it's a little unfair to make this judgment. What if it was a photo of Brown folks sitting at dinner would we feel the same way that blacks Asians and whites are excluded? I think we're a little too quick to judge peoples intentions and character over a dinner party.
