Welcome to the ety.ai Moonshot Hackathon — where AI meets the roots of language. This is a builder-focused, in-person hackathon hosted in Ukraine with the mission of transforming how the world explores, shares, and interacts with word origins using:

  • AI for intelligent word parsing and generation

  • Blockchain for tokenized language ownership and migration

  • Telegram for social-powered micro-interactions and education

Over the next 16 days, you’ll build tools that bring language, etymology, and learning to life — and help shape the future of embeddable, decentralized knowledge.

💡 Inspiration

We’ve always believed language is a kind of invisible infrastructure — powering search, translation, meaning, and expression.

But most etymology tools are static, slow, or siloed.
This hackathon is inspired by three principles:

  1. Language is composable — like smart contracts, every word has building blocks.

  2. Embeddability = accessibility — we want ety.ai content everywhere: Telegram, Substack, personal websites, even classrooms.

  3. Tokens as fuel — we want users to sponsor, mint, or migrate word experiences across platforms, starting with a clean bridge from Polygon to GitBanks.
