Notes for the latest Cake Wallet release are always on this page — link or bookmark it and you'll always land on the newest version. Notes for earlier versions are in the pages below.

Latest: 6.5.0 — October 2026

Covers v6.5.0 (October 2026).

Highlights

  • Robinhood Chain. Create Robinhood Chain wallets to send, receive and hold ETH and tokens on Robinhood's Ethereum Layer-2. The USDG and USDe stablecoins are shown by default, and a list of tokenized stocks and ETFs can be turned on from the token list. See Robinhood Chain.

  • Price charts. A new Charts tab tracks the prices of the assets you choose to follow, with ranges from one hour to all time. Pin a favorite, sort by market cap, gains or losses, and jump straight to buying, selling or swapping. See Charts.

  • Bitcoin accounts. Split one Bitcoin wallet into several accounts — separate pockets with their own balance, addresses and history, all backed up by the same recovery phrase. Turn them on under Settings → Bitcoin Settings → Accounts (Onchain). Accounts you no longer use can be archived, on Monero too. See Bitcoin.

  • Faster Bitcoin sync. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Dogecoin wallets are ready sooner: your balance is up to date quickly, while older transaction details finish loading in the background.

  • Reorganized settings. Every wallet now has its own settings page named after its coin — for example Bitcoin Settings or Monero Settings — holding Nodes, Accounts, Coin Control, Silent Payments, MWEB, Lightning Username and WalletConnect. The wallet section of Settings is now titled with your wallet's name.

  • Zano is being phased out. New Zano wallets can no longer be created or restored. Existing Zano wallets keep working for now — back up your seed from Recovery & Keys and consider moving your funds to another Zano wallet. See Zano.

Improvements & fixes

v6.5.0 — October 2026

  • Archive accounts. Accounts can't be deleted, but you can now archive the ones you no longer use: open the account's Edit Account screen from the Accounts page and tap Archive Account. Funds stay in an archived account, and you can bring it back any time from Archived Accounts. A short walkthrough explains how accounts work the first time you open them. Works for Bitcoin and Monero accounts.

  • More Cake Wallet Tor nodes. Bitcoin and Litecoin now have a Cake Wallet (Tor) onion node in their node lists, and the Monero and Zcash onion nodes moved to new addresses under the same name. With built-in Tor on, Bitcoin fee estimates also come from Cake's own onion service. If you had the old Monero Cake Wallet (Onion) node or an old Zcash Tor node selected, select Cake Wallet (Tor) again after updating.

  • Monero core update. Monero is updated to v0.18.5.3.

  • Safer Monero sends. A Monero payment that would have to be split into several transactions is now stopped with an explanation instead of being sent as many. Send a smaller amount to yourself first to consolidate your funds, then try again.

  • Lightning amounts in sats. Lightning invoice amounts are now entered in sats. The Enable Lightning toggle also no longer disappears after you turn Lightning off, so you can turn it back on later.

  • Rescan now fills in your wallet's saved restore height for Monero and Zcash.

  • Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Dogecoin: wallets with many addresses open faster, and your balance no longer briefly shows an old value after sending or receiving.

  • Swaps: LetsExchange and StealthEX are no longer offered as swap providers, and Exolix remains off. Past trades with them still show their status in History. In the Swap Tor only mode, Cake Wallet now reaches Trocador through Trocador's onion service.

  • Fixed tapping Swap repeatedly creating duplicate trades.

  • Buy and sell: MoonPay now offers the payment methods available for your currency, including Cash App and MoonPay Balance, and the confirmation screen shows the provider's minimum and maximum limits.

  • Tron: token approvals and other contract interactions no longer show up as token transfers in History, and a slow or failed history lookup no longer stops your wallet from syncing.

  • Fixed a send you had backed out of being able to replace a newer one on the confirmation screen.

  • BitBox: you're no longer asked to reconnect your device before every send while it stays plugged in.

  • When sending or swapping, the wallet switcher now lists only wallets on the same chain.

  • Litecoin: coin control's block-explorer link now opens Blockchair.

  • iOS: error reports can now be sent through the share sheet when no Mail account is set up.

  • Viewing your recovery phrase as a QR code no longer forces the screen to maximum brightness.

  • Fixed the History Filters and Support headers rendering in red, and the progress message after deleting a wallet.
