Quick answer
GoDaddy did not run a big public Black Friday sale in 2025. Its Black Friday domain prices (like $0.63 for a .shop or $9.99 for a .co) were only for members of its paid Domain Pro club. That plan costs $29.99 a month today.
If you just want one cheap domain this Black Friday, Namecheap, Porkbun and other registrars usually beat GoDaddy.
Status (October 16, 2026): GoDaddy’s 2026 Black Friday sale is not live yet. Black Friday is on November 27, 2026. We will update this page when GoDaddy shares its deals.
GoDaddy is the world’s biggest domain registrar. It had about 81 million domains and 20.4 million customers at the end of 2025. So lots of people search for a GoDaddy Black Friday deal every year.
But “Black Friday deal” pages for GoDaddy often show prices that never existed. Many are written weeks before the sale and just guess. In this post, we show what GoDaddy actually offered in 2025, what it costs today, and when it makes sense to buy from it.

Notice what is missing: .com. GoDaddy had no Black Friday .com deal on the tracker in 2025, not even for members.
Watch out for:
- Renewal prices. The sale price is for year one only. Year two costs the normal renewal price, which is often much higher.
- The membership itself. Domain Pro renews every year by default. If you only joined for the sale, turn off auto-renew in your account.
- Fake “$0.99 .com” claims. Some deal sites promised a $0.99 GoDaddy .com for Black Friday 2025. We found no proof of it. The only cheap .com reports we saw were for GoDaddy’s India site, priced in rupees.
Is Domain Pro worth it just for Black Friday?
For most people, no. You would pay $359.88 for the year to save money on a few domains.
Here is a simple example. Say you want one .co and one .shop:
- Without the club: $51.99 + $59.99 = $111.98
- With Domain Pro in 2025: $9.99 + $0.63 + $359.88 membership = $370.50
The club only pays off if you buy many domains, or you use the extras. Domain Pro also gives $30 a month in GoDaddy Auctions credit, lower renewal prices and domain investing tools. That makes sense for domain investors, not for someone starting one website.
Did GoDaddy have a Black Friday hosting deal in 2025?
We could not confirm one. GoDaddy did not publish a Black Friday hosting page that we could check. Deal sites claimed anything from 30% to 88% off, and most of those pages went up before the sale even started.
Here is the catch: GoDaddy’s normal hosting page already shows big “Save” labels every day. For example, the Economy plan is $5.99 a month instead of $11.99, if you pay for 3 years. So a “50% off” Black Friday banner may just be the everyday price.
These are GoDaddy’s web hosting prices today (October 2026):
| Plan | Price on a 3-year term | Normal price | Websites | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Economy | $5.99/mo | $11.99/mo | 1 | 25 GB |
| Hosting for WordPress Basic | $5.99/mo | $14.99/mo | 1 | 10 GB |
| Deluxe | $7.99/mo | $16.99/mo | 10 | 50 GB |
| Ultimate | $12.99/mo | $21.99/mo | 25 | 75 GB |
All four plans come with a free domain, free email, a free SSL certificate and a 30-day money-back guarantee. GoDaddy also promises 99.9% uptime. The low price needs a 3-year term, so check your total at checkout before you pay.
Tip: if a Black Friday price for one of these plans is not lower than the numbers above, it is not a real Black Friday discount.
GoDaddy vs public Black Friday deals in 2025
Anyone could get these other deals, with no membership. For most domain endings, the public price was close to GoDaddy’s member price, or lower.
| Domain ending | GoDaddy (Domain Pro members only) | Best public deal we found (anyone) |
|---|---|---|
| .com | No deal | $7.00 at Porkbun (code PIGGYBFCM25), $7.48 at Namecheap (code MATRIXTLD25) |
| .shop | $0.63 | $0.48 at Namecheap |
| .online | $0.63 | $0.48 at Namecheap |
| .xyz | $0.85 | $1.28 at Namecheap |
| .me | $1.45 | $1.98 at Namecheap |
| .us | $3.99 | $3.98 at Namecheap |
| .org | $7.99 | $6.48 at Namecheap |
| .co | $9.99 | $5.85 at NameSilo |
All prices are for the first year of a new domain. For the full list of 2025 deals, see our Best Black Friday Domain Deals post.
When is GoDaddy Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday is on November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is on November 30, 2026. GoDaddy has not shared any 2026 sale yet. In 2025, its member prices ran from late November to December 31.
If GoDaddy follows last year, expect member-only domain prices again, not a big public sale. We will update this post as soon as we see real 2026 prices.
Who should still buy from GoDaddy?
GoDaddy can still be a good pick, even without a big sale. It fits you if:
- You want everything in one place. Domain, hosting, email and a website builder sit in one account.
- You want phone support. GoDaddy offers 24/7 help by phone and chat.
- Your domains are already there. Moving them to another registrar takes time and effort.
- You buy domains as an investment. Then Domain Pro and its Black Friday prices can save you real money.
Good news: GoDaddy now includes basic domain privacy at no extra cost. It also lists a regular .com at $12.99 for the first year, but it renews at $22.99 a year. Always check the renewal price before you buy.

Tips to get the best price
- Look at the renewal price, not just the first-year price. The renewal is what you pay for years after.
- Compare the Black Friday price with today’s price. Use the hosting table above as your check.
- Pick the term on purpose. GoDaddy’s lowest hosting prices need a 3-year term.
- Get the free domain with hosting. Add it to the cart before you pay, or you may lose it.
- Use the 30-day money-back guarantee if the hosting is not right for you.
- Only join Domain Pro if you buy lots of domains. For one or two, a public deal elsewhere is cheaper.
GoDaddy Black Friday FAQ
Does GoDaddy have a Black Friday sale?

We found no proof of either for GoDaddy’s main site. The old $1 hosting deal ended years ago.

No. In 2025, member prices showed up on their own at checkout. Be careful with “coupon code” sites that list old or fake codes.
