OkayDev started as a community for creative developers and is now the home for all creatives, designers included.

Yes. A free account includes a profile, a portfolio where you can list up to 6 projects, and full access to Okay Social. There's no trial period and no card required.

When you want more, PRO is there. Your profile and work carry over.

No. Your profile and listed projects are visible to the community on the free plan, and free members' projects can be hand-picked for the Gallery.

PRO makes discovery automatic. New projects you create as a PRO member are included in the Gallery, and you appear in the Directory, where people can find you by skills, availability, and location.

Personal accounts are for individuals: freelancers, employees, students, and founders.

Business accounts are for studios, agencies, start-ups, and brands. They put your brand, your people, and your work in one place. Business PRO adds a Directory listing, team members with badges, and projects shared across everyone's portfolio.

You choose the account type when you sign up. Use Business Sign-up to create a business account.

Free accounts can have up to 6 listed projects at a time. A listed project appears on your profile and across OkayDev. An unlisted project is hidden but never deleted, and it doesn't count toward the limit.

To list a different project once you have 6, open one of your listed projects, open Project Details, and switch it to Unlisted. That frees a slot. PRO accounts can list unlimited projects.

PRO is a subscription that renews monthly. Lifetime is a single payment with nothing to renew. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

You can see your plan, its status, and its dates any time under Membership in your account settings.

Lifetime is one payment for access without renewals. It includes everything in PRO, immediate access to new features, a LIFETIME profile badge, and premium support.

Seats are limited to 250 per account type, and the price steps up as they're claimed. The plan card above shows how many are left.

Yes. Cancel PRO from Membership in your account settings whenever you like. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your account returns to Free. Your profile and work stay put.

Nothing is deleted. If you have more than 6 listed projects when PRO ends, your 6 most recent stay listed and the rest are unlisted automatically. Unlisted projects remain in your account, and you can list one again by unlisting another.

PRO-only features, like your Directory listing, stop applying until you upgrade again. Projects already in the Gallery stay there, but new projects are no longer added automatically.

Okay Social is a chronological feed for sharing work, ideas, links, code, and works in progress. Posts appear in order from the people you follow, and membership never changes where you land.

There are no ads and no ranking algorithm deciding what gets seen. It's built for creatives and meant to skip the noise that comes with most social media.

The Profile Editor lets you design your profile right on the page. Open it on your profile to pick a background color, switch project and social post overlays between light and dark, customize card colors (or apply one color to every card, or randomize them), choose which cards and stats to show, feature people you follow as Most Okay, and arrange your projects. These controls cover the Profile, Bio, Social, People, Stats, and Projects sections.

The Profile Editor is included with every membership, including Free.

The Gallery is a curated collection of member projects. You can like, bookmark, and share them, and search and filters help you narrow down what you're looking for.

New projects created by PRO and Lifetime members appear automatically. Free members' listed projects, and projects created before upgrading, can be hand-picked for inclusion. Either way, the OkayDev team curates the Gallery to keep it high quality.

The Directory lists Okay Devs and PRO members, including Lifetime members. Search and filters narrow it by member group, skills and tools, availability, location, and more.

PRO members get content modules when creating a project: rich text, images, videos, image and video grids, and embedded media from Vimeo, YouTube, and CodePen.

Use them to give a project more context and visuals, so you can present it in greater detail than a title and a few images.

PRO members can add existing members to the Credits section of a project. Those members can choose to be included. If they are, the project also shows up in their portfolio, and the project page shows their avatar linked to their profile.

Business PRO accounts can add existing members to their team and represent them on their About page. Team members can then choose to be included, and if they are, the business logo appears next to their name across the site.

Job postings are free, but every post is reviewed for quality and relevance. Premium upgrades are available for things like a newsletter mention, social media posts, a homepage feature, and sharing in Discord and the private Slack workspace.

Yes. OkayDev works in any modern mobile browser, and you can add it to your Home Screen to use it like an app.

Once it's installed, you can turn on push notifications and get alerts on your phone for things like new followers, likes, comments, and mentions. You choose which types to receive in your notification settings.
