What is Phonable?
Phonable is a smarter voicemail app that replaces your carrier voicemail. It lets you use switchable greetings, optional AI voice greetings, automatic text replies, and visual voicemail with transcription and summaries.
How does Phonable work?
Phonable works using conditional call forwarding. When you do not answer a call, your carrier forwards the call to your Phonable number, where your greeting plays and the caller can leave a message.
Do I need a new phone number or SIM card?
No. Your existing phone number stays the same. Phonable only handles missed calls through call forwarding, so callers still dial your normal number.
What happens when I answer the call?
Nothing changes. If you pick up, the call connects normally and Phonable is not involved.
Can I create multiple greetings and switch between them?
Yes. You can create multiple greetings and switch instantly, so your voicemail can match your schedule (meetings, travel, weekends, and more).
What are AI voice greetings?
With AI voice greetings, you can type your greeting instead of recording it. Phonable will speak it using a professional AI voice, so your voicemail always sounds clear and polished.
Can I send automatic text messages to callers?
Yes. Phonable can automatically send a custom SMS after someone reaches your voicemail and hangs up (with or without leaving a message). It is a great way to let callers know what to do next.
