As all members know, we completed voting for our last quarter of book club reads for 2026. There were so many great choices, and any combination would have been amazing! That being said, here are our Q4 book club picks, and a short description of each:

• October: Japanese Gothic by Kylie Lee Baker

  • In this lyrical, wildly inventive horror novel interwoven with Japanese mythology, two people living centuries apart discover a door between their worlds.

• November: The Demon Star by Jesse Aragon

  • The otherworldly religious conflict of Dune, the cosmic strangeness of Gideon the Ninth, and the heart-pounding action of Red Rising converge in this horror-tinged epic science fantasy debut

• December: Scion by James Islington

  • John Wick meets Ghost in the Shell in this fast-paced cyberpunk thriller by the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Will of the Many and The Strength of the Few.
