Battery storage will not affect your Feed-in-Tariff payments as long as the battery is AC-coupled, which means that only surplus energy can enter the battery after it has clocked up on your solar generation meter.
Yes, all of our battery storage systems are capable of charging from the grid overnight on an off-peak tariff, like economy seven or an EV tariff.
Different energy providers are more suitable for each home. For example, Octopus Energy have great EV tariffs and Heat pump tariffs, whereas Utility Warehouse offer great economy seven tariffs where you don’t need to have an EV or a heat pump.
