Kamala Harris Makes a Push for the Gamer Vote with a Custom Fortnite Map - IGN Daily Fix
1 year, 10 months
-
In today's Daily Fix:With the U.S. presidential election hitting its final days, both candidates' campaigns are doing all they can to appeal to all voters. Most recently, the campaign for Vice President Harris has released a custom map in Fortnite that highlights some of her campaign's platforms. But is this enough to appeal to swing voters who play the world's most popular battle royale? In other news, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is off to a strong start on Steam, posting better concurrent numbers than the launch weekends of predecessors Modern Warfare 2 and 3. But it wasn't enough to top concurrents for spinoff battle royale Warzone 2.0, which was still the most popular CoD over the weekend. And finally, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will say goodbye to microtransactions when the game's servers shut down in the coming months. You can still play, however, if you buy the Complete edition, which is basically an offline version of the game.
