i heard there weren't enough eclipse pictures on your timeline, so here are mine. the best pictures were after i took of the solar filter from the lens which makes me slightly regret not taking it off sooner, being so close to sunset the sun wasn't bright enough to be properly visible through it with my camera. but i'm really pleased with the setting and the results despite my poor equipment

duckduckfedi: what is a good (foss) software for route planning, collecting and editing? ideally something offline and linux compatible but if a web interface is good enough i don't mind.

so far i've been using Mapy.cz for planning and then export as gpx to copy over to CoMaps on my phone, which mostly works (sometimes I have to fight the routing algoritm) but only one way. i'd also like to be able to import recorded gpx tracks from my phone and edit, organize them, pull out stats, etc.

being able to produce edits for OSM would be a nice bonus, but afaik only GIS software can do that and it's overly complicated for my other use cases?

How much do you distinguish between friendships and dating?

This poll is mostly meant for neurodiverse polyamorous queer people (which seems to be most of fedi). I'm kinda curious, since the monogamous script tells you to clearly separate the two but I suspect a lot of queers don't.

Have you heard this one: The Czech transport minister takes the train from Prague to Munich for a meeting about improvements to the train service between Prague and Munich.

His train is first held up for an hour at the border in Furth and then gets cancelled altogether in Regensburg. He had planned with a two hour buffer but that wasn’t enough for the suggested detour via Nuremberg, so asks the Bavarians to send a car.

i'm going to have a little bit of scheduled unscheduled downtime on everything while I move the servers to a new place (probably until the end of day today)
