I have a lot of project-specific skills, mostly written not by me, but today I created my first relatively generic one for personal use. It checks the hardware on the machine I am working on and trims everything unnecessary from the Linux kernel config to reduce build time.

week 135, streaming kernel dev (c++) topic: timer interrupt got the LAPIC timer interrupt working!! the LAPIC is a complex device, but it turns out it's not so bad to configure it for a simple timer. wired that into my interrupt subsystem and it's working =) link + screenshots
