JUST IN: @Citi expects to launch $BTC custody later this year under its new Custody+ platform. This follows work on tokenized deposits, Swift’s 24/7 payments pilot, and a planned bank tokenized deposit network. The banks are coming onchain.

JUST IN: July CPI came in at 3.4%, right in line with expectations. Core CPI fell to 2.5%, also in line. No inflation surprise, futures are green, and markets get the print they want: boring enough for the Fed, clean enough for risk.
