NIST has updated the National Marine Mammal Tissue Bank, a collection of 80,000 marine mammal specimens. Scientists use it to study marine mammal health, the ocean itself and human health. This is a collab between NIST and @NOAA at the Hollings Marine Lab in Charleston, SC.
