The #Patriots losing the turnover battle 3-0 was an obvious killer. Seattle also out-played them from an explosive play standpoint: 12.7% of snaps to 3%. They were about even by success rate, and combined for just 1 red-zone trip. (Explosive play: 12+ yard run, 20+ yard pass)

I understand playing the long game against Seattle’s D and running enough to protect Maye some and set up play-action. But landing the first punch was more important, IMO. And they had to be more aggressive late. The mismatches were in 3-WR. Left yards on the table.

Speaking on first down runs, the Pats are 60% run on 1st down tonight, as of four minutes left in the game. Their 33% success rate on those first down runs would have been 32nd in the league last year. Even behind the Raiders. Gotta get off that.
